What is Dayspring Ranch?

Dayspring Ranch is a 10 acre oasis in the middle of Newberry Springs, California rich with pine trees, picnic areas, workshops, a sparkling two acre lake, garden areas and enough space to build a village.

God has blessed us with an opportunity to house many of our hurting youth who have been removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse. Most of these children are in foster care, but some of them are living on the streets. We are opening His Venture’s Dayspring Ranch in order to be the difference in the lives of teenagers.

Our home will be a place where we will provide an atmosphere of love and genuine acceptance. We will strive to build self-worth in each child. We will guide each child on life’s journey to become confident, successful, independent and healed adults. We will be a catalyst for change. Our beautiful safe haven will be just the place to provide everything these young people need for a real chance to become whole again.

The young people wil have a regular schedule of school, homework, chores and free time. They will be involved with small groups and one-on-one counseling. The young people will have tutors to help them excel at their school work. We will strive to ensure their academic success in order that they may move onto college after high school graduation. These young people will have mentors who will lovingly inspire them, motivate them and encourage them to succeed. Whether they are just spending time in a workshop building, fishing at the lake,caring for animals, working in the gardens, playing sports or just relaxing, there will always be plenty to do. They will have a place to escape from life’s struggles. They will be surrounded by a loving and caring staff as well as volunteers whom they can talk to about everyday life, and we will provide them with a refreshing atmosphere of genuine acceptance based on Judeo-Christian values.
